Patient Engagement and Research

We aim to connect patients with health research teams to foster collaboration in Long COVID research. By facilitating this partnership, we seek to enhance the relevance and impact of studies, ensuring that research aligns with the needs and experiences of patients. This collaboration will help identify crucial research questions, design studies that prioritize patient perspectives, and translate findings into actionable solutions to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by Long COVID.

I am seeking opportunities to share my lived experience with Long COVID to help improve our healthcare system.

A Long COVID patient is someone who has personally experienced the condition or has cared for someone with it, such as a family member or friend.

Patients can engage as Patient Partners, where they serve as equal members of the research team, or as participants, contributing valuable insights to the study without being formal team members.

I am seeking patients affected by Long COVID to join my patient-oriented research team.

Patient-oriented research addresses questions that matter to those living with Long COVID and seeks to improve care. As Patient Partners, team members collaborate with researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and other stakeholders to investigate areas of Long COVID care that patients have identified as important and in need of change.
