Session Overview:

This session will include updates on research evidence related to the nature of episodic disability and role and evidence for safe rehabilitation in the context of Long COVID from the perspectives from rehabilitation professional clinicians, researchers and persons with lived experiences.

Specifically, they will feature a conceptual framework of episodic disability developed by persons living with Long COVID, followed by an overview of safe rehabilitation, specifically the role, evidence for, and best practices for physiotherapy and occupational therapy, embedding lived experiences throughout. They will highlight practical resources for use in clinical practice and research, and feature priorities for future research, practice and policy moving forward in the field.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers following their presentations.
