Background​

Long Covid Web and Memorial University of Newfoundland are pleased to announce the 2025 Canadian Symposium on Long COVID.

The symposium will bring together people with lived experience of Long COVID, clinicians, trainees, allied health, researchers and others to discuss the latest innovations and scientific developments in Long COVID.

​Hosted by the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Long COVID Web, this event will take place in-person in St. John’s and virtually on Whova platform on October 20th-21st, 2025

Overall Learning Objectives

  1. To provide a national platform for clinicians, researchers, persons with lived experiences, and others to share research, discuss challenges and explore solutions for debilitating Long Covid conditions.

  2. To dive into cutting-edge basic science and clinical studies, including advancements in epidemiology, pathophysiology, and potential therapeutic targets.

  3. To shed light on the significance of patient advocacy and partnership in driving impactful research and improving outcomes

Submissions Open: Abstracts and Art Pieces

At the 3rd Canadian Symposium on Long Covid, we invite researchers and trainees to share their research results in Long COVID research.

We also include an opportunity for People with Lived Experience (PWLE) to voluntarily share expressions of the impact of Long COVID on daily lives through art pieces by once again hosting an Art Gallery as part of the event. For more details, please go through the submission forms below:
