Session Overview:
Please join us at our first instalment in this series as we hear from Dr. Angela Cheung who will help define post-COVID-19 condition (or long COVID), describe the aims of Long COVID Web (the national research network on post-COVID-19 condition), and its structure. We will then hear from speakers Claudia Lagacé and Scott McLeish, as they provide an overview of the Canadian COVID-19 Antibody and Health Survey (CCAHS) – Cycle 2. This survey was the first national representative study in Canada to measure the prevalence of long-term symptoms of COVID-19. Their presentation will cover the design of the survey as well as some of their key results, particularly those related to long-term symptoms of COVID-19 and the impacts on the lives of Canadians. The learning objective is to understand the purpose and recent results of the national survey.
